Welcome to my stop on the Autumn's Harvest Blog Hop!
Today I'm writing about Autumn and vampires. Don't think I can do it, do you? Well, I'll give it a shot.
Autumn is the time of year when people think of change. The leaves turn to vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges and we tend to appreciate the things we have a bit more. Since Thanksgiving falls in November, the holiday adds to our joyous feelings.
In my novel, Wanted: Vampire - Free Blood, Alexis Hall starts out in a very bad place due to a devastating loss. She is cold, frozen in the winter of time without hope or even a will to live. Until fate steps in. Like Autumn, she too changes and learns to appreciate her life and all that she's been given. Her very life gains more meaning than it ever had before and she doesn't look back. In a powerful story about change, she chooses to live in Autumn.

When the nip of fall settles over me, I love the heat of a hot romance or the blood-stirring feel of a good vampire story.
ReplyDeletevonnie.davis (at) ymail.com
Fall brings to mind sitting by the fire with a good book. My go to genre is PNR, so for me it'll be a warm fire and shifters, vampires, demons, you mention you. lol
ReplyDeletepurple975 @msn.com
Mm, fall...settling on the sofa under a cozy blanket with a good story and a crackling fire, mulled wine or hot toddy on the table in front of me. One of my favorite fall pastimes! Looking forward to reading the book, Lisa!

who wouldn't enjoy a vampire story? In the Autumn it's time to be indoors keeping warm and toasty being enthralled by a charismatic book.

It’s hard to say what exactly would be my Go-To Autumn Romance book. When I think real hard about it, I would have to say it has a sexy, strong, determined male that when it comes to love is just lost. Then there has to be a woman who is usually in need of help or needs to know what love and family is. Together they heal each other and love turns out to be their greatest gift. I also love a happy ending at this time of year, usually where the epilogue has them starting their own family to love and cherish. Oh….and definitely HOT loving too!

I have a 16 year old son that we have called vampire baby since he was born. This last year he developed a UV allergy. This time of the year is the only time he really gets to get out and about. So, in our house, we do as much as we can while it is reasonably nice.

This book sounds so good, I can't wait to read it!

Autumn is my favorite time of year. As soon as the air gets crispy and cool it is time for the making of soup and chili, and curling up under a snuggly blanket and reading a good book, Vampire books aren't my usually forte but if it is good I will try.

Thanks for the chance!

Interesting way to get your vampires into the spirit of the hop. My favorite thing about Autumn/Fall is the changing color of the leaves, orange, yellow, red, even purple. They are so pretty. My least favorite thing is raking up those pretty leaves. LOL I love to curl up by the fire and read a hot romance book on a cold fall evening. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win. <^_^>
