Q: How do you party and raise hell? Or do you raise hell and then party?

*Dorian smiles, his lips quirking into a devilish grin* It's a misconception that I and the Devil are one in the same. I'm a neutral party between good and evil who collects their damaged souls. But.....when I party I can't help but raise a little hell.

*Gwen snorts and shakes her head*

Q: Who's your favorite vampire (I can't wait to hear Dorian's response!)

*Gwen shifts uncomfortably but smiles weakly* I'd have to say Brad Pitt. Fictional vampires are the only ones I can deal with right now.

*Dorian glances at Gwen and then back* Personally I love Count Chocula. Who knew a vampire could create something so delicious? 

Q:Who's your favorite witch?

Isn't it obvious? *Dorian's eyes roam up the length of Gwen.

Gwen trys her hardest to pretend not to notice.

Q: Who's your least favorite ghost?

Dorian: Casper, that little bastard creeps me out.

*Gwen laughs*

Q: If you could be anywhere, where would it be?

*Gwen crosses her leg over the other* On a sandy beach far far away.

Q: And with who?

*Before Gwen can answer, Dorian interjects.* Me of course!

Legion of Bats by Shadow Stephens

My rating: 5 of 5 stars


First, I love the title of this book. Throughout the story, I kept thinking of the X-Men. Yes, the X-Men. A team of people with powers pulled together into a school to develop their powers. And interesting powers they are. The lively characters carry this intriguing plot forward as it unfolds with plenty of exciting action scenes and surprises. It’s a fun and entertaining ride!

Adventurous!

What a wonderful, exciting journey. This is the second book I have read of Lola’s and I love them both. Twins travel to the beautiful county of Italy and find more than they expected. Is it Fate’s Design or a set up? The travel, excitement, and strange occurrences kept me turning the pages until the very end. This book has a beautiful blend of mystery, action, drama, tragedy, and romance that involved me right away. I also loved the male characters, smokin' hot vampires, but my favorite emerged later in the book and hooked me so hard that I’m dying for the next book in the series. I’m ready for book 2!

Welcome Cait Lavender

Please welcome Cait Lavender who is now joining us from her Hunter Moon Blog Tour. She's agreed to answer a few question to help you get to know her.

Q: Tell me a little bit about yourself.  What do you do for fun?

Reading is my go to recreation of choice. I feel like I never have enough time to read, so when I get a spare moment that’s what I’m doing. I also love to cook, bake, shoot and ride horses.

Q: What do you like most about the genre you write in?

There are no restrictions! With other genres you at least have to know a bit of what you’re talking about, but in Paranormal Romance you get to make up the rules and as long as it’s steamy and compelling people like it.

Q: Where is your favorite place to write?

My favorite place is in my bed, but since my husband can’t fall asleep with the screen light and the clicking of the keys, I mostly write in the living room on the couch.

Q: What’s your next project?

I’m writing the first novel in a new series set in the same world as the Lupine Moon series, except this is a little darker and more intense, focusing on vampires and Knights Templar.

Q: How do you feel about Dr. Pepper?

I’m more of an ice tea or Mountain Dew girl myself. I never got to like Dr. Pepper.

Hunter Moon Review

Bawling cattle tore Shelby Flint from her bed. With lawyer fees to pay in her struggle to keep her ranch from the clutches of her greedy cousins, she couldn’t afford the loss of even one calf. When she sees a large wolf circling her cows, she aims and fires.

While the wolf escapes, Shelby can’t seem to get away from her troubles when a marijuana grower sets up shop on her land, sabotaging her property and eventually coming after her. Adding to that, a handsome game warden is poking his nose into her business and working his way underneath her skin. Shelby will have to fight harder than she ever fought before to keep from losing heart and everything she ever loved.

Hunter Moon by Cait Lavender

My rating: 5 of 5 stars


This book is hot!

I haven’t read Cowboy Moon, the book that comes before this, but I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything by picking the story with Hunter Moon. Meaning, nothing seems to be left out. It took me a chapter or two to get into this book but by the time the dead body rolled around, I was intrigued. I loved the characters in this book, Cash, a sexy warden, Shelby, a strong, independent cowgirl, Jack, a sexy Green Beret, Cash, again because I love him.

The story unfolds well and the sexual tension is very hot. This book is a part 1 or part 2 because it doesn't end at the HEA, but I still loved it and can't wait for the next in the series. I give this book 5 stars! The action and hotness level are incredible!
